FAQ

Is Alvityl a drug?

No. Alvityl is a food supplement which contributes to both well-being and fitness of the body. Drugs, on the other hand, cure diseases.

Can the intake of Alvityl lead to a hypervitaminose?

No, Alvityl is formulated according to the RDA (Recommended Daily Allowances). It meets 100% of the daily required vitamins, and does not exceed it.

What defines RDA and what is the difference with the RNI?

The RDA (Recommended Daily Allowances) are the reference values for nutrition labelling which are decided at a European level. RDA have been chosen as an average which corresponds approximately to the population needs. They enable each individual to have appropriate intakes, decreasing the risks of deficiencies. Besides RDA, there is the RNI: Reference Nutrient Intakes. They take into account age, sex, special conditions (pregnant and breastfeeding women, seniors). Let’s take the example of iron:

RDA

RNI – children from 4 to 6 year-old

RNI – Adult men

RNI – Adult women

RNI – Menopausal women

Iron quantity (in mg)

The RDA are easier to use as they suit an ‘average’ person while RNI are much more specific.

Is there a prolonged effect if we have several intakes a day versus one intake ?

The action of vitamins and minerals has no immediate effect. They are absorbed in the digestive tube, often transformed into active components and then stored (liver, reins, brain, bones, etc) to be redistributed to the different targeted organs according to their needs. This is the reason why deficiencies are not obvious the day you stop consuming an element: your body will use all its stored vitamins before showing any sign of deficiencies. The delay depends on the amount of vitamins and minerals your body has. It is essential to have a daily and continuous intake, in order to maintain the optimal level of vitamins and we should increase the intake when the need arises.

I am pregnant, may I use the Alvityl products?

Alvityl Multivitamin Solution can be used by pregnant women. It is better to consult your doctor first in order to avoid any over dosage. As a precaution, Alvityl Defenses is not recommended to pregnant women because of the specificities of pregnancy.

Why is Alvityl Vitality Multivitamin Solution contained in a pressurized bottle?

The exclusive preservation of Alvityl Multivitamin Solution in a pressurized bottle ensures an optimal conservation of its formula. Vitamins are not in contact with light or oxygen. Furthermore, the pump cap enables an easy usage.

Do I have to consume Alvityl Multivitamin Solution as soon as possible after the opening of the bottle?

Its use does not lead to a contact between the product and oxygen or light. No conservation period after the opening of Alvityl Multivitamin Solution is then necessary.

Why did my physician prescribe Alvityl Multivitamin Solution to my less-than-3-years-old child ?
